POSTED 17th April 2018 – Site Manager, £50,000 (dependent on experience), Greater Manchester 

One of the UK’s most prominent builder of homes, is seeking experienced Site Managers to work across the Manchester area. Due to the nature of the role, the client will only consider candidates with extensive new house build experience.

Key responsibilities:

– Manage the site ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and overseeing site activities

-Support the business in building and operating a team to achieve company objectives

– Monitor and report accidents ensuring paperwork is submitted correctly

– Manage and implement health and safety procedures including audit processes and ensuring documentation is correctly logged

– Control and monitor the use of resources on site, including sub-contractors and suppliers

– Ensure effective employee relationships whilst delivering change to working procedures and practices when necessary

– Understand and implement budgets, valuations and costs

– Contribute to requirements requested by HR including carrying out annual performance reviews, identifying training needs, monitoring attendance levels, etc

– Assume responsibility for staff understanding their roles and their requirements, managing staff accordingly by providing guidance, support and training where necessary

Successful candidates must:

– Have a full UK driving licence

– Have previous experience of site management in the housing construction industry

– Have a proven track record in project management- Have exemplary leadership skills in management of employees

– Be computer literate with good IT skills

– Be willing to work to strict time schedules, working overtime and long hours including weekends where necessary

POSTED 17th April 2018 – Senior Site Manager, £40,000 – £60,000+Benefits, negotiable for the right candidate, UK Wide

One of the UK’s most prominent fit out construction specialists, is seeking experienced Site Managers to oversee projects UK wide.

The client undertakes bespoke shopfit projects for clients such as museums, large flagship superstores, retail developments, high end one off stores, jewellers and banking facilities. Previous experience in overseeing high end shop fit is a must have. The client takes huge pride in their image and remaining smart and professional during works undertaken is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

– Have a full UK driving licence

– Have exemplary leadership skills in management of employees
– Be computer literate with good IT skills
– Be comfortable with staying away from home for extended periods of time to complete projects
– Be comfortable with travelling throughout the UK for work

Qualifications Required
– SMSTS
– CSCS
– First Aid Certified
